I Will Be Tackling YouTube over the Next While

I have been putting off YouTube for far too long. The last while I have been working with a digital camcorder and I have taken some preliminary videos. The last one I took, while I liked it - the communication was too fast, and I had forgotten to straighten out my background. I also had the camera pointing up, rather than straight at me. So, I am hoping that today will be perfect. LOL
I am hoping that this will be the start of my cinematographic career. LOL. I have the Fun Cool Collectibles, my Original Artwork Store, my Squidoo Lenses, and my Amazon astores, just to name a few.

I am taking the 30 Day Challenge

I am taking the Thirty Day Challenge . What an invaluable service. They could easily charge for this. Everybody who is an affiliate, or sells online should take this course. Even though I have been selling online for 8 years now, I think it is well worth taking.
I am social networking. I have taken SEO courses. I can put up most of my own websites. I still think that this course is well worth taking. I am still not sure where they are making the money, but I will let you know when I find out.
Now that I have set up an ecommerce store, I have more time to pursue other money making opportunities. I am an Amazon affiliate, and I am setting up astores, for selling Amazon products, check out my The Total Bike Shop. I am also trying to capitalize on Google Adsense. While it is still too early to tell, I hope that it pays off.

I had a Very Relaxing Weekend

I had a very relaxing weekend. Went to the EdgeFest in Albany. I tried to draw, but we were rained upon. It wasn’t a downpour, just nuisance showers. Our blankets were soaked, even though we had umbrellas for such an event. I loved listening to the bands. There were lots of old farts there, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. Watched the young ones in the pit, brought back memories when I was younger and in the pit. Just having fun. No worries about the future.
Now, back to earth. Lots of mail to do today. Whew. Where are all of these customers coming from in July! July is usually a dead month.
I am working on a short video for youtube. I am trying to learn how to use a Mustek video camera, that I got for my birthday. Finally pulled it out of the box the other day. Hopefully, I will have the video ready for this weekend. It will be covering a product line that we have. I will also be able to put it on one or more of my Squidoo lenses. I will have to wear a one of those funny director hats and scarfs, and sit in one of those fancy chairs. lol.
One of the things that I like about business, is that there is so much to learn. You are always learning. You always have to experiment with new things.

I have hit a bloody Bottleneck with My Computer!

I am trying to get my small camcorder to work, and now my computer is giving me the Low Disk Space error message. I will be spending much of the weekend freeing up disk space so I can get some video clips ready for YouTube. This is a bit of a pain in the butt, because I need to list some stuff in our Fun Cool Collectibles Store. I have also been coming up with some ideas for a new store at Ecrater. I am very excited about the prospect of selling some other products or websites. It all started while I was watching our garage sale. I did a little brainstorming and came up with some decent ideas. I just need a little more time to put these ideas together. This is one of the reasons why I think cloning would be a good idea. It would enable me to get some more stuff done.

Wow, Have We Been Busy This Weekend!

Boy, did we do well at Fun Cool Collectibles this weekend, it almost doesn’t seem like it will stop. I will be spending the next day or two just doing the mail! This never happened at Ebay, we usually just took July off and got ready for the Fall. I am excited about this fall when sales start to take off.
We have an account at UsFreeAds. com Classifieds that is great for getting traffic to our Fun Cool Collectibles Store and to my Squidoo Lenses. I believe that all of the social networking that we have done over the last year is really starting to pay off. With even more social networking, we should be able to do more sales then we did at Ebay over the seven years that we were there.
It is funny how you never got over the excitement of a sale. It is always great, and the daily totals, while sometimes maybe frustrating are great when they show no less than monthly improvements. Or an improvement over the previous year. No, matter how much I may love summer weather, I am truly looking forward to the fall, with out Summer Sales

The Digital Camera, a very Versatile Piece of Equipment

I have been taking a course on the Digital Camera. I took courses for a 35mm camera many years a go, but these little digital cameras are incredible. I was in Albany, NY for the fourth of July celebrations, and used my digital camera as a small camcorder, I was amazed. They have come so far with these things. I will be putting up a short on youtube of some of the Albany celebrations. While, I have learned how to take decent pictures, I am still on the slow end of the learning curve with editing. I hope in the next little while to be an expert with a Windows Movie program and Photoshop. I am a bit of an artist, and I am constantly amazed at what these programs are capable of doing. I envy kids of today, there are so many new and exciting toys to play with.
While this is a slow period for sales for the Fun Cool Collectibles store We are getting ready for Fall and Winter, and the two big holidays - Halloween and Christmas. These are always the two most exciting times of the year. We are looking for a great winter, because we know that our social networking will be paying off, and our website has gone from a PR0 to a PR3. This will help us to rank in Google’s searches. We might even Rank PR4 by Christmas, as I have been leaving comments on other people’s blogs.

Happy 4th of July!

Have a great 4th of July! I will be going to Albany NY to see the Fireworks. I have been stocking up my store at Utradesports It reminds me so much of the store we had at Ebay, but more versatile. It is full of products from Fun Cool Collectibles, Squidoo Lenses that I am selling, and PayDotCom affiliate programs that I belong to.

Wow, I have been busy. I have set up a blog and Two Stores

I have been so busy setting up another blog - The Sports Blog, The Ultimate Super Mall and Utradesports E-store. I should be back and be able to regular posts to my blogs. These stores just need a little tinkering, but I should be able to make regular posts to the blogs.
I love putting up these stores, it helps immensely when it comes to paying the bills. It is also a big challenge to my knowledge of bum marketing. One of the stores - The Ultimate Super Mall is an Amazon affiliate site. Utradesports E-store is a store I set up at UsFreeads . I personally love this site, because items are found very quickly in Google. Over at Utradesports I will be posting items from Fun Cool Collectibles, PayDot.com Affiliate Programs. and Selling My Lens.
It is nice to find a use for the Domain name Utradesports. It brings back many memories of our years at Ebay. Our costs of selling products has decreased immensely, but this Christmas we will be ready! I will be spending a lot of time writing articles. I have also been looking at sending out PR releases.

I am Looking at Marketing and Selling Websites Again

I was visiting Digital Point Forums and was checking over the posts for websites for sale. The prices people were getting for practically defunct websites is actually quite impressive. It is also quite interesting to see how people were calculating the websites values. Adsense earnings are of utmost importance. I am not really partial to websites that have a lot of these adsense banners, but if this is what sells websites, what the heck. I also went over to Ebay to check out what people were getting for websites, and I was not impressed, with either the quality of website or the bidding on these sites. In the next week or so I will be purchasing a hosting resellers account and starting to put up websites. I will just have to check over what websites will sell.
One website - hotsingle.org that I sold a couple of years ago has disappeared off the face of the internet. This is one website that I could not get members for, but the person who purchased it from me, managed to get over 5,000 members. I tried to talk her into selling it, because she would have gotten a good sum of money for it, but she wouldn’t. Now all she has is a domain name and no website and no money. She just gave up on it.

Promote You Products and Make Some Money

I have some Squidoo Lenses, that I am selling, so that you can make some money That’s right Why not make some money while you promote your products or services. All of these lens are over 7 months old and some of them have a PR2 or PR3. This is an excellent deal! Why am I selling them? Because I love to build them and nurse them for a while and then sell them. It is plain and simple. It is like a hobby of mine. When I look at a lens or a website, and I can’t see how I can improve on them, I tell myself it is time for them to find a new owner, and off they go. Visit Lens Marketplace and see if there is something that you like. I will always be adding to my list of lenses to sell.
